All Pavetec management and operatives are trained in IOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS and CSCS.

Implementation of the policy:

• Provides adequate information, instruction and training to employees to ensure their competence;
• Ensures that suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments are undertaken and Safe Working Procedures are implemented for all work activities to ensure a safe place of work;
• Provides and maintains safe plant, equipment and workplace;
• Ensures that adequate welfare facilities are provided, maintained, kept clean and serviceable; and,
• Ensures that, as appropriate and applicable, Contractors are suitably vetted and monitored to ensure they are aware of any inherent dangers at their place of work and they do not adversely affect any employee.

The health and safety of the individual are of paramount importance and the company’s policy clearly reflects this requirement. No Supervisor should allow, condone or connive in any unsafe practices, nor should any employee intentionally commit or connive with others in any unsafe act. Safety at Pavetec Ltd is paramount

Safety is everyone’s responsibility at Pavetec Ltd. All injuries are preventable. No risks assessment/method statement or PPE, no work.

Safety is good for business. All incidents will be investigated. No CSCS card, no work.
